Now you too can review Brooks Brothers

Got an email today from Les Freres Brooks indicating that registered customers can now submit online product reviews.  Seems like a whole new way for the AndyTrad, Curriculum and Talk Ivy factions to do battle in a very public forum.

It looks as though you need to sign into your account and then it will dredge up things you've bought and give you the opportunity to review them.  Haven't tried it yet.

Re: Now you too can review Brooks Brothers

I'll do... I get so much spam from these guys, anyway... If it was one mail per week, okay, but one or two everyday?

Now, what do you think is the best approach? Being a little diplomatic? I think constructive criticism is the best...

I don't think it's bad that they offer all these fashionable things, as long as they make a (good-value-for-reasonable-money) classic product. I want the timeless Brooks Brothers sack suits back! And some nice Tweed sports jackets and blue blazers... all of these in the tradition of the Brooks No.1 cut with its perfect natural shoulder line....

3" lapels, swelled edge, lapped seams, 3/2 roll, 6" vent... all the classic details

Why did they stop selling this???

They should simply reintroduce products cut with their old patterns, additionally...

Do you think they will listen???

That isn't too horrendous.

Has a lot of appeal to me as it doesn't look too sacky, but it is a sack. Good good good!

The son of Ralph!

Interesting. Brooks is now the follower, no longer the leader.

All I'd tinker with would be the amount of waist suppression, the sideburns, the colour of the trou. & the cap.

You could also play with his cuff/sleeve length too...

Like I say - Interesting!

Buy this from Brooks, pay more & get it from Ralph, or put the look together yourself from the real McCoy at a fraction of the price.

Re: Now you too can review Brooks Brothers

Why not buy vintage or raid O'Connells & have an old school Sack cut down?

Buy quality cheap & get a tailor to nip it all in for you.

Maybe?
