Re: Book Learning

I've met a few wimmin DJs who collect seriously music which I can't get that serious about. Matter of taste, of course.

A man could spend the rest of his life trying to remember what he shouldn't have said.

Beatnik: Sadly, no room for a lodger here, and as a matter of fact, I've about as much rights as a lodger. And at least they get bacon and eggs for breakfast.

SJ: Bird on Verve is great, well, except for the string albums. Better than the Dial sides in my opinion. Although the critics all disagree.

Kingstonian: And as it happens, Hattie Jacques left Le Mesurier. He also had the misfortune for his girlfriend to run off with Tony Hancock, more than once. Still, he was a gentleman who digged modern jazz. That's what he spent his pocket money on, MJQ albums and vodka.  A man of exquisite taste.
