similar.... see my exceptions above.... but the best is to try them on, these damn shoes have to fit.... That's why I do prefer buying from JS to online shopping!

Some specifics here too:
Shoulders are 17".
In some cases a 36S jacket works as well.
I'm training the waist down, it's now half way between 33 & 32".
Shoes are medium width (US 8.5 D). Usually.

No. Always U.K 7 and U.S 8 for me. Then again my feet are alittle wide and my left foot is about .25 of a size longer so l usually need to size up one full size. l would imagine people with narrower feet wouldn't have so much of a problem with only going up .5
Experts shouldn't be giving such advice as set facts, all feet are different and sizing can vary from person to person. This is something many on the forums don't understand. The sizing advice topics are simply crazy, they are far oversimplified and people get their size wrong as a result. So much is involved in evaluating the correct size, it's abit of an artform to be able to get it right.
I've never bought a pair of shoes online or off, new or used, that didn't fit fine straight off. I must have rubber feet ![]()
Am I just imagining that new shoe sizing is often all over the shop now? Two recent shop-bought pairs have been UK size sevens.

You're very lucky.

lt's hard to say. Companies are always introducing new styles on different lasts but many older lasts have been taken away. l really think it depends on the shoe company and their strategies.
or are you referring to the inconsistancy of sizing between various shoe maker factories?

I`m only really after a suit having resolved my ongoing search for a tweed jacket; perhaps the subject of another thread when it arrives.
Just a deserved little bump for this thread, Weejunaires and Weejunettes.
Anyone had any luck with it yet?
42 reg/short
pants roughly 35x30
shirts 17 1/2 x 34 but wearing too small collars lately...so ill take anything down to 16.
shoes 10 1/2 US
unlike most people on here, im looking for stuff more available in the uk, not necessarily ivy- tweed coats and/or suits with the ticket pocket , loake shoes, etc.
42 reg/long
Pants 36x31
Shirts 153/4, so both 15.5 and 16 work x 35
Always looking for shirts from the usual suspects...
I can't remember if I posted on here before:
Quite young, slim and tall myself, so looking for perhaps slimmer cut shirts than some of the older guys on here with similar sizes:
15.5 neck
35 arm
Looking for all kinds of OCBDs, white, blue, bleeding madras, (red?).
Also, for the summer months some madras shorts would be good, waist 32/3 ish
Cheers

Libran, cuddly and looking for love.
Likes pina coladas and walks in the rain.
Would love to work with poor children and bring world peace.
Also, would love a navy blue shetland crew neck like the big lads wear...
42/44 Reg depending on who makes it.
38 Waist
17/34 Shirt
9/9.5 UK
10/10.5 EE/EEE US
Is someone going to put this on a spreadsheet?
14.5-32
36s
30/28-29
7-7.5 US
Mostly struggling to find suits and jackets...

They are more structured that you think. Try one of the innumerable J PRess stores in Japan, or the non-corporate retailers in Japan (also innumerable).

Regarding the thread topic:
I am surprised to see no jokes about inner leg measurement yet?
