The shoulders on these look a bit wide and droopy: why I prefer a saddle shoulder if possible.

The sleeves are rather longish on this type. A chunky sweater like the Shetland looks good when being worn somewhat roomy I think, though, especially over a full cut shirt. Otherwise the effect might appear a little stuffy. Wearing a Shetland under a tweed jacket I never thought of as the best of ideas come to that, then again I'm not a fan of the crewneck/sportsjacket combo anyway ( a V-neck looks so much better I think ). Sizing down would work nicely in those cases where a T-shirt is being worn underneath perhaps.
