Just for you, Russell, I will tell all. The whole business is a real Anglo-American mongrel mix.
The jacket is an off-the-peg H. Freeman & Son and so impeccably American. It's got a very nice, natural shoulder with just a wee bit of padding and a tad of wadding in the sleeve head for shape. At the same time, you can tell that they wanted to English it up a bit with a ticket pocket and side vents. The material is really nice and soft with a very fluid feel. Must by either Shetland wool or heavy on cashmere. Didn't look at the fiber content when I bought it. The overall feel is sweatery with defined shape. So, sort of the best of two worlds.
Shirt's several years old, Viyella from Land's End. Vest is from LLBean. Cords are from Lambourne. The Chap reported that Lambourne's gone under. Shame, really. I have several pairs of cords and moleskins from them and I think they're great quality at a very reasonable price. Socks are Pantherellas and the shoes (Clogs -in-the-Bog?) are Loakes.
The watch is a Bulova that my grandfather bought on his honeymoon in 1946. Probably not very valuable but it sure looks the business from that era.
Not seen is a PRL gator strap on a vermeille engine-turned buckle from B2.

Love it all.
Any chance of a close up on that jacket? That Anglo American look is/was a BIG part of the real story of my pet subject.
Best -
I'll see what I can do when I get home, Russell.

I don't know, not very familiar with butt-less leather trousers, newborn babies, horses and jewish comedians..
Today is avio blue herringbone sack, white BB shirt with all that usual jazz, black knitted tie, gray parallels, charcoal Pantherella socks, black bogues, a worn out green Barbour Bedale, dark brown vintage gloves (surely made with some endangered species' skin, but who cares), yellow-blue Berkeley College scarf (on a more serious note, heard they're having problems with taxes increase, hope they'll sort it out somehow -wow, me saying something vaguely 'liberal', amazing..)
