Anglo-Yank today.  Dark brown Lambourne cords (bulletproof that material), pink OCBD, the favorite Blue Drake sweater with torn elbow patches that I've posted before, brown alpaca sock (sublimely warm and soft), 986s, Barbour.  There be Christmas shopping to be done.

Just like the old Brooks 'Jockey' stripe.

... I think it was called that. I've only just sat down & I'm loathed to get up again so soon to check...

I'm not sure how healthy all this is really...
As I scroll down past pictures of a young man in tight jeans and leather jacket. Then we get to a pic of Brownshoe doing his best smouldering look, wanting us to look at his yellow cashmere socks...

If you step back a touch, this forum is a bit of a funny old set up really isn't it?

Re: Ivy League style for today

And yet it's still better than the rest!

... BTW, which hand should a Gentleman wipe his behind with?

My Grandmother always called it her 'Sit-Upon' you know. 'BTM' is very 'Lower-Middle' ...

... During the war she had a little dog called Jimmy (I find the fact that she named it that somewhat difficult to deal with) who, like any dog, needed to be 'taken out' (another nice use of language) as 'nature called', and so my Grandmother would walk him into the Cadogan Place gardens and sternly instruct him : "Now Jimmy, do your duty!".

How strange life is!

68 years later her Grandson is now often known as Jimmy and he does his duty all over the internet.

Who could have predicted it?

You have my support.

... And we should try to guess the dish -

Chopped Onions being browned,
Some kind of Pasta in that pan?
Tomato Juice,
Some kind of Meat in that packet?

Hmmmmm ...
