During the war she had a little dog called Jimmy (I find the fact that she named it that somewhat difficult to deal with) who, like any dog, needed to be 'taken out' (another nice use of language) as 'nature called', and so my Grandmother would walk him into the Cadogan Place gardens and sternly instruct him : "Now Jimmy, do your duty!".
