it really is the plain old stuff i like best, plain front khakis, brooks oxford cloth shirts, shetland sweaters, and yes plain old boxers - blue or white only. ive got weejuns and brogues and plain leather belts. i wear these almost every single day
there are times however when its hot in the sumemr that the patch madras and embroidered shorts come out, its silly i know but for me its fun, and sometimes you just wann have fun, this usually involved lots of drinking, though i can do that in a blazer and flannels to
yes old chum - the basics are always the best
And by adding an item of patch you make it sing out so much more. Add two and you create a muddle.
Ivy had colour, texture & the whole shebang (even Boyer says so) - But it also had a sense of taste and proportion.
Let's get back to that?
yes lets, i dont have that much color excpet for my madras GTH summer stuff, i mean i have a red shetland but it is very muted, i have a red/white university stripe oxford but it too is muted, maybe the color you speak of in soft and muted kinda like a argyle southerland tie - i mean its green, navy, gold and red yet it seems to me subtle and not loud, maybe i have color afterall.
I have 2 favourite dressers on this forum.
Daniele - for his flamboyance and glamour.
And you Moosey because you always get it right. Day in, day out.
^besides Mooseman, heikki does pretty good to
Of course Mikey. I love everyone equally. But if I had to pick two...
