and/or thicker lambswools and at a decent price? the moths got at a bunch of mine...used to have them everywhere, now theyre either of horrible quality or over 100 bucks, nothing in between. jcrew claims to be "sold out".

I must admit to being a fan as they are simply wonderful. Very like the old W&W ones. Kosher kit.
57 pounds? youch. ill have to wait till the damned republicans and their banker pals stop hoarding the stimulus money....100 bucks is pricey on the dole.
^ You can get lambswool for a reasonable price http://www.woolovers.com/mens/jumpers.
I always think of shetland as being at the very bottom of the knitwear hierarchy - bargain basement British Home Stores garments. I could not care less if it is Ivy. Lambswool is better.
these prices are fantastic. thanks!
Great quality & customer service too. I suspect that I first championed them online.
And their Norwegian is the best you'll currently get unless you buy Dale. Fact!
the bean ones have tripled in price recently. i still see the original bean ones at thrift stores all the time over here...but i find used sweaters kind of nasty, unless im wearing them to The Office (water filled ditch)
norwegians, that is
i grew up wearing sweatshirts exclusively due to poverty. uncle's hand-me-down guido sweaters that were 8 sizes too big to mass. i theorize this led directly to my interest in ivy (along with ska shows when i was 15). context, once again, can be hilarious
oh, heres another one. i get the impression that toggle coats are similarly trashy over there...when i was about 8, a large, dirt-poor off-the-boat irish family showed up at our school, all of them wearing those. the guidos referred to them as "paddington bear coats" and generally mocked the posh-ness of their get-up. what they hadnt counted on was that kid's left hook....
im sure youre all fascinated...this is what goes through my head at 4 30 in the morning after a handful of vicodin....my apologies once again
my god, thats another one, wrangler. the ultimate dork-and-hillbilly wear here.....europeans wear it like its gucci ive noticed.
I only know Big V. from 'House' - Any good?
My back is frickin' killin' me again.
not to mention you limeys- designer wranglers on oi polloi for something like 100 pounds.
