Vintage blue with a white stripe Brooks OCBD, white FOTL T-shirt, beige no name lambswool crewneck pullover sweater, very unironed German dept. store khakis, mainly red Falke argyle socks, Alden longwings, mainly green plaid cashmere scarf, stolen, my oldest second hand pea coat, and a new haircut that I'm not happy with...

Re: Ivy League style for today

Did it. Bought a pair.

They can always go back if they're not as nice in real life, but I think they look pretty damn nice. Remember our conversation recently Chris about 2 or 3 eyelets? These look so well balanced.

And so good to see someone selling a natural edged crepe sole desert boot in a darker colour. Now if only someone would do a snuff playboy with natural colour bumpers. Ah...

They look like desert boots worn in the original Flight of the Phoenix...

Agree on the LE DBs; very nice looking boot.

Also noticed chambray '3BD' shirts (also in a very handsome white), and some great looking camp shirts in the last catalogue.

Nice boot, expensive though... Although on the upside, one of the few things that aren't more expensive on German LE

Re: Ivy League style for today

Those Lands End Desert Boots again.

The images on the site are OK but you can see the form and style better in these pics from the US Canvas website - forget the rolled up painter jeans, he's only showing the boots for us to check out.

I like the fact they are chunkier than Clarks (always felt the sole was too thin) and more like a goodyear welted pair. I'm hoping they're as well made as the current Sebago models but nice cut and 2 eyelets.

^ Still works Adam.

We dress very alike today. Tweed cap, button down, crewneck, rolled jeans, desert boots.
