Re: Ivy League style for today

I know for sure that there are several places in Berlin stocking Alden...shoot me a PM if you want me too look them up. I'd bet that the premium you pay in Europe is more than s&h for having thems ent over from the states though...if you can get them around customs

Nice shirt Riley. Also, the fit on the G9 knock off is spot on.

Re: Ivy League style for today

If you nosey around the Alden website you can find country retailers. There's a place here in the Netherlands in Amsterdam that sells them.  My last two pairs were from the SF shop, as NSB point out the shipping costs are extreme and then you have the nasty import duties.

Off to take the daughters to a music lesson and then as we're waiting on funds, shopping at Aldi for the first time ever:
Gordon cloth Mercer OCBD (colours much superior to the BB equivalent)
BB Thompson Advantage chinos in dark blue
Zegna brown belt
Watch: should really go with the Omega Speedmaster for the 1960's space program look, but have gone with the Laco support chrono instead
Shoes: Alden longwings

Aldi's is friggin top notch. their house brand of dutch piss-tasting beer is indistinguishable from the world industry leader in dutch piss beer at half the price. and an empty baileys bottle refilled with O'Connells Brand Authentic Irish Choco-Bathroom Cleanser is simply indispensable for the entertainment of fetching co-eds on an unemployment check.

Bins?

These are the coveted "cheapest non-dorky frame at the store" model. I don't like them much; when my hair is too long I look like someone's lesbian grandmother.
