John Simons on Facebook

'Tis true. Could be fun. Get involved if this is your thing. Some nice pics to come from the assorted Ivyists around town.

Re: John Simons on Facebook

I love how the shop goes from a home-made webpage to a very good looking one and a facebook presence in a week.... I really didn't see the facebook thing coming though

Re: John Simons on Facebook

Enjoyed the pics, but I'm not really bothered about the whole Facebook thing one way or another.

Re: John Simons on Facebook

Well I don't really get the point of a facebook page (I don't get a lot of things about facebook)...

The new website looks "awesome", that's for sure

It's just a touch of Malcolm X - 'By any means necessary'.

Re: John Simons on Facebook

One member of the Politburo has teenage daughters who have introduced him to Facebook culture, hence the page. Not my thing either but this could be a nice way of getting stuff out of the fans - ideas, pictures, memories. The website always struggled to do that, Chris H and Russell Street apart. And One Trick Pony God bless him.

Re: John Simons on Facebook

I am currently negotiating an interview with a leading Ivy light for the Facebook project.

Let's not sniff at all of this too soon.

We owned the future before it happened.  Let's just ease into what belongs to us anyway.

Andy - Won't you please come home!

Yrs,

Knob Nose.

^ *Ahem*!

A very nice network building up on the JSA Facebook project...

I've been asked if it's a good or a bad thing & I think that as long as we stick to the JS aesthetic we can't fail - No Trad & no Preppy!

Re: John Simons on Facebook

A few posts on the 'Discussion' page now - Another side to the project which may be of use.

All the networking is going well with some nice new names being added to the team every day. Evrybody has been very supportive so far. Beyond the promotion of Mr. Simons, the promotion of the Ivy look in general goes well.

Best,

Jim
