I think that the customer should specify exactly what he wants in terms of specific design (vents, pleats, pockets, cuffs etc.) and leave the production to the professionals; confining himself to comments on fit and comfort at the fittings; apart from that, 'trust to the chef'. If you interfere in the technicalities you will create irritation and resentment and become known as" A Right 'erbert".
