I recently picked up my first silk knit tie of which I have become very fond and plan to pick up another soon.  I have also seen others sport cashmere knit ties as well.  I guess I associate cashmere with cooler weather, but would a cashmere knit tie be appropriate for spring/summer.  Also, I am envision that a cashmere knit tie is more delicate than its silk counterpart and more prone to damage.  Is this true?
