Pennneeeeeeeeezzzz! As far as i can tell, j c penney, nunn bush, stafford, and about 400 other budget brands im forgetting had an identical model of longwing, generally seen in brown grain. a well made, attractive shoe at what i assume was a very low price. im guessing they were maybe all made in the same factory. elsewhere in that price point, dexter had its own models (very distinctive-i actually might like them better than the nicer brands), as did sears (not very distinctive or distinguished generally, though they did a few premium models).
