Re: What's Your Tipple?

I'm a serious beer drinker - how could I not be as I'm bavarian. Lot of small local breweries around - some briliant some bad, so you kind of have to be in the know...

...playing with mixes - 'radler' in summer is still great -  50/50 mix of beer and proper lemonade  NOT sprite , fanta, 7up. Used to like snakebite but cider is a bit hard to get around here and expensive - so it doesn't make sense...

...vodka is nice (rusky standard platinum, yeah!), but gets me drunk too fast. Hard to dj, if I can't read the labels anymore and placing a record on the deck seems like a problem (thats whre 7" come in REALLY handy)...

...hangovers started to get bad after becoming 30 or 35. But it still happens of course - stupid, I know. Best cure: broth in stead of coffee for breakfast, no work, heaps of sleep - narrows it down to saturdays or preferably sundays as hangover days...

^ Wheatsheaf used to be a fine old Borough pub too - before Borough Market was trendy and before Wheatsheaf became a Young's pub. It had a good range of varying guest beers, doorstep sandwichs and a dartboard. Wheatsheaf now moved to a nearby location as well

Re: What's Your Tipple?

Came across a real thirst quencher of a beer whilst on my travels around Spain. It goes by the name of Quilmes. It's Argy born and bred, and is one smooth MF....
