Flusser

Anyone admit to not dipping into this kind of thing from time to time?  I'd never pay full price, but I picked up a copy of 'Dressing The Man' from the local Oxfam shop.  All the usual stuff, of course, including the portraits of Cary Grant and Fred Astaire 'showing us all how it should be done'.  Ivy gets its mention, and there are the obligatory references to Brooks.  It passed a couple of quiet summer evenings whilst my wife was absorbed in the tennis (and until the time came for me to become absorbed in the tennis skirts).  Does Flusser make a decent living d'you suppose?

Re: Flusser

I do have Roetzel's 'Gentleman', an entertaining read. Brooks Brothers, Weejuns, Horween, saddle bucks and plenty more get a mention - he discusses American attire on an equal footing (albeit in less detail) to the British and Italian traditions.

Herr R. has championed the seersucker suit in the past.
