Without quoting him extensively, I think Jesmond raises a few valid points here. He is a true individualist of the forum - a bit like Alex Roest perhaps, in some ways. Now, I could no more wear the jellies than I could a burka; but - but - but - he can, does, is content to, and that's all there is to it. I'm more of a pale blue Brooks OCBD, flat-fronted chinos dresser; Jesmond is more your adventurous Steve McQueen type. I'm probably a bit too conservative, but that's just my style. Jesmond is in the hip John Simons tradition: altered Saville Row with a denim shirt? Takes real self-confidence.
Gant shirtmakers light blue ocbd

A rather warm day down on the very sunny south coast!

And the obligatory very chilled Campari soda
Cheers

There we are, Ralphie can still be nice. Particularly when missing that fucking emblem.
Bit of a beat thang going on with those sandals '66. Like it...
Beatnik - yeah it's that "mid 60s drop out college boy" thing. You see these characters on period US photos - perhaps from Woodstock - still wearing the old faded Ivy garb, hair just past its date, first reefer, first baby steps toward the full fledged hippiedom to come. I sort of like those early transitional types. Ivy gone bummy.
