Anyone stuck their nose in yet? Are they selling those nice snuff-coloured desert boots?
Googling Boggi desert boots doesn't seem to have much of an effect. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.
I've bought a fair bit of Boggi, decent button downs, including a royal oxford one. Reasonably priced too.
There's a decent store at Milan's Linate airport if you're not flying out of Malpensa.
I also used their online store several times, then they asked for a copy of my passport and then I called BS on that.
They manufacture in Romania mainly, not sure about the shoes, probably Italy.
I wouldn't hesitate in purchasing from them. They get Hepcat's approval, not that's worth anything.
Rumania. Not good. Baracuta have their Harringtons made there. Don't Boggi imagine Italian workers need jobs? Poor sods making white goods and shoes are already being driven into poverty by the Far East.
Yes when did this shift take place? you can still buy the original g9 made in england. And some made in eng. for japan export do popup in the covent garden store.
Anyone buying a Baracuta now has missed the boat. You still see what look like knock-offs, worn swinging open by men with beer bellies. Anyone daft enough to walk into my mates' shop and hand over £125 needs their swede examining.
Interesting that Gibson Gardens said he'd never seen John Simons wearing one. Can't say I blame him.
