Seen at his absolute best as the lonely gay in 'A Taste of Honey'.  Rita Tushingham was also a face of the 60s, at a time when the British were still making decent movies.  My daughter went to the same school as Alan Bates, seen with tasty June Ritchie in 'A Kind of Loving'.
