The Ivy Diet

Orange juice and coffee seem very Ivy.  So do bagels and salt beef sandwiches with horseradish.  Gnocci.

Not a serious subject, this 'un.  What do you like?  I'm partial to what are nowadays called 'goujons' from the local chippie.  They used to call them 'fish bites'.  What's going on?

Re: The Ivy Diet

One of my greatest pleasures is the big sausage cob with brown sauce.  Oft eaten stood in a doorway with the rain beating down.

Never got on with bagels - too sweet. I used to buy them from the 24 hour bagel place in Brick Lane before I played cards in Aldgate.

My diet is not Ivy. Big tea drinker. Into nosh, not continental stuff.

Re: The Ivy Diet

My entire family are big-time tea drinkers.  I'm the odd one out.  Roast lamb with mint sauce does the trick nicely on a Sunday.
