Doin' All Right: Bass Weejuns
A fair amount of grumbling about them on 'Talk Ivy', when we're mostly agreed, I think, that fings ain't wot they used ter be (Lord, the first Troy Guild shirt I acquired sent me scampering straight back to Brooks). Mine have been worn, sometimes for long distances, in most kinds of weather and are holding up nicely. Hill Rise struck me with his straightfoward comments about the BD and loafer. Another trusty workhorse.

The Gilman model is in soft (albeit cheap) calf, and is much nicer-looking than the current shiny standard CG model

can't be bothered with them since they went offshore, but I've got a pair that I've 'ad resoled a few times.
