Re: Camp Mocs

I'd go with the LL Bean signature ones...much nicer leather and they have the old "doorstop" sole. Not something if your feet are narrow tho...

I think Bass makes a similar one..

Re: Camp Mocs

Bean is the original from 1936 (same year as Bass popped out The Weejun).

Gareth - Your link is for the Blucher Moc, quite a different bird to the Camp Moc but very good too.

Here's the Camp Moc:  http://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/10587?from=SR&feat=sr

Best -

Re: Camp Mocs

If you're looking for a camp moc (the one with the single eyelet), go with the normal LL Bean one that Russell has linked.  If you're looking for the blucher moc, get the LL Bean Signature one.  They are fantastic.  The leather on the standard ll bean blucher isn't very nice, yet the leather on the standard LL Bean CAMP moc is quite nice.

Re: Camp Mocs

Thanks brothers.

Sorry RS, you're of course right - blucher not camp (that's a lifestyle choice right there!). It was the toe of the Bean blucher I particularly liked, but I'm up for Mocs in general......

I like the Bean signature bluchers - dig the doorstop soles, I also now fancy the suede ones and I like the hightop ones - the Rangers. Aaaarrgh..... choices, choices.

Tried to find Bass ones on-line and drew a blank - linko anyone?

Re: Camp Mocs

I got some second hand quoddy bluchers only this week. Can only say good things. There might be some that pop up on ebay as current fashion trends turn elsewhere?
