James Bond: The Music

This is for my old chum, Staceyboy, who loves John Barry.
I like, more than anything, the music from 'OHMSS'.  The singers were naff, from Matt Munro onwards.  Shirley Bassey was all right, Nancy Sinatra better.

Re: James Bond: The Music

love John Barry!

BTW....

...anybody know "You only live twice" by Lorraine Chandler? Wasn't used for the movie... I think it was discovered in the 90s at RCA as a demo... one of those late rare soul discoveries...

another nice Northern Soul spy thing is Chuck Jackson's "The Silencer"... very short, but a killer of a song... could be used for any Bond or any spay movie, I think....

Re: James Bond: The Music

Gentlemen, may I recommend Sex Mob's "Does Bond"?

My old music teacher was the leader of the John Barry appreciation society, he was the first person to demonstrate to me that it was indeed, John Barry who composed the Bond theme (allegedly).
