Many will have seen 'The Talented Mister Ripley'.  Her books aren't always good, but many of the early ones are worth reading, particularly 'Deep Water', 'The Two Faces Of January' and 'The Cry Of The Owl'.  Quite a good Ivy background; lesbian, rebel and hipster.
