I can't see my wearing these Hawkins Astronauts with any degree of pleasure. I've grown too accustomed to loafers. Bearing in mind these are plain black UK size 8 shoes I'll take offers if anyone's interested. Ship 'em anywhere, but you'll have to work out the conversion rate UK/US/Euro.
Bump for the Astronauts before I chance my arm on Ebay.

huge variety of minty tweed car coats, overcoats, a 44L camel coat (not a polo, but spotless) and several spotless london fogs. if someone needs a winter or raincoat, email me size.

skinny black/white houndstooth tie.
44L makers jacket, part of a grey pinstripe suit, probably taken but may be avail.
a number of older USA made bean chamois shirts, all with slightly slanted double flap chest pockets. pockets have a little wear on all of them. 15.5 and 16 necks.

The LE unlined field jacket in vintage olive is a hugely practical coat, I get a heck of a lot of wear out of mine and it's held up well.
Those frigging Astronauts are on Ebay with a 99p starting bid. Postman's shoes.
44R green hopsack sportcoat, huntington, sack, 3/2, 2 on cuff, hook vent. some light, very soft padding in shoulder (like most huntington products, just a tad more than say a makers).
3 M madras SS shirts
new with tags makers tie, repeating hanging pig on navy
NOS slim marshall fields tie, repeating santas!
new w/ tags recent lands end sportcoat, chino, darted, patch chest pocket.
48L ll bean chino sportcoat, 2 button sack.
2 button darted hickey freeman jacket, muted grey glenplaid, 44L.
42 reg. reed st james worsted sack blazer, 2 button, flapped patch lower pockets.
I'm going to have to offload a few shirts. Sero, Troy Guild, Hartford, others.
Paul Stuart seersucker pants. 35R. Pale blue/white. £20 post free.
I'll put details up this afternoon. From memory: a Troy Guild (which I think eris has already bagged), a half-sleeve mango Sero... two Hartford... Viyella and Trywhitt tattersalls... a newer Brooks...
Sero... colour known as 'mango'... orange when I was a lad... American L... authentic Indian Madras, made in the USA. Nothing wrong with it, I just prefer my Madras to have violent, bleeding slabs of colour...
Hartford... one of the older ones... L... evenly spaced red, pink and pale blue stripes on white.
Hartford... ditto... L... pale green... Both have spread collars...
Brooks Hanging Pig non-iron... Medium... Main colour is burgundy... plaid...
Tyrwhitt Tattersall 17/35
£3 apiece to cover postage.
None of this Paypal stuff.
Eris got the Troy.
I'm thinking about shifting some old Tootal scarves if anyone's keen.
Reluctantly, because I'm skint, I'm offering up these size 12 'Made Specially For J.Simons' longwings, which may be Loakes Royals. I've had them for three years or so and I'm in no hurry. They're definitely not going on Ebay, though.

New autumn stock about to arrive including : MORE Harris Tweed jackets, tweed suits + breeks, vintage wool / tweed overcoats and some amazing vintage pieces.
Having a clear out, got a bunch of stuff that may be of interest:
1. Brooks Brothers blue blazer, 40R I think (no size on tag). 100% wool, half lined, 3/2 lapel, 3 button cuff, lower patch and flap pockets, upper besom. Made in the USA. Bought off eBay US and rarely worn by me.
2. J Press black and white herringbone sport coat, 38R. 100% wool, fully lined, 3/2 lapel, 3 button cuff, lower flap pockets, hook vent. Made in Canada. Again, bought off eBay US and rarely worn by me.
3. J Keydge Slack Jacket in tan wide wale corduroy, European size 50 which is a UK/ US 40R. I had it altered to narrow the upper back/ shoulders, so should fit a 38-39R. Lower patch and flap pockets, upper patch pocket, 2 button working cuff buttons. Bought new, rarely worn.
4. Whites of Hawick shawl collar 'Lord' cardigan. Ribbed, dark grey cardigan with brown 'football' buttons, size M, made in Scotland. Bought new, rarely worn.
5. LL Bean Shetland, dark grey heather, saddle shoulders, size M. Bought new, had a bit of wear but still in good condition.
6. Sero Purist LS ocbd shirt, cream/ eggshell colour, 15.5 collar, sleeves are probably 32-33. Excellent roll on the collar. Bought from fellow forumite Long_playing, but too short in the sleeves and tight in the body. Would probably fit a 15 collar better.
Looking for £40 each for the jackets, £50 for the cardigan, £15 for the jumper, £10 for the shirt.
PM me for interest and for detailed measurements
41/42L worsted blazer, 3/2, sack, raised seam lapel, flapped patch lower pockets. plain buttons like bean's used to have, but doesnt look like a bean to me. will need a new set of buttons.
Herrmengiglidildo Zegna sportcoat, euro size 48, seems to be a US 38 or 40. very soft shoulder, double vent, darted, 3 button. kind of a higher lapel it seems. 50% wool/ 30%camelhair/ 20%silk blend herringbone, dark charcoal with black mixed in. fully lined. made in switzerland. the construction of this coat seems very impressive/sturdy to my layman's eye.
also viewed a 42 reg. palm beach wash & wear suit,lt. tan. 36 pants. haspel tweed sportcoat in a 38, english cut.
