The Incredibly Simple Beauty of the J. Keydge Slack Jacket

Let's hope these haven't disappeared from the scene during the transitional period between the closing of J.Simons and the opening of the new shop.  I wish I'd invested in more than two.  The shoulder...  the slouch...  the lapel...  the cuff-buttons...  even the damn label...

Oh, David, my boy, you're missing out.  But I bought my first over the phone.  John just said "You're about the same size as me" and the deal was struck.  Maybe the new online store will yield something.

David!

My adopted Jewish name back to me once more!

(In truth always my original second name after yet another Goy Uncle...)

Long hours of poring over ancient texts in preparation for the Final Conflict between Russell and Chens.

Seconded re the Keydge slack - I bought four over the years from JS - cord, moleskin, linen and cotton.  Perfect.

It is an item I regret never buying from J.Simons..... I have a couple of slacks, but not J.Keydge's. An omission I hope to put right with my Christmas wish-list
