This kind of thing apparently attracts much gay interest on Ebay. I cannot think of anything uglier. I well remember the gay skinhead National Fronter (not sure that the BNP had been invented in 1978) DJ at Nottingham's Sandpiper club. A popular chap with the punters, that one.
The really sussed skinheads I remember always wore brogues with their tonik or 501s.
One of my best friends runs a skin ska night and it's really pitiful to see the the dregs of society there punching the air on the dancefloor. These grown (many middle aged) men are sad specimens. Many with learning disabilities and very obvious racist beliefs. My mate is very sussed and looks great, but unfortunately he is very much in the minority in the world of skinheadism.
22 hole boots have no place in my vocabulary.
I really want to avoid any kind of look, associated with the Nazi skin scum. Knowing full well that the original skins were far from any kind of fascist politics, in Southeastern Europe it's kind of easy to slip :S
l can't find any links to these boots, what are they?
I had to Google to confirm that we were talking about Dr. Martens boots. They get a perfectly neutral reception from me, albeit they are likely to be worn by folks in one of several costumes: grungies, goths, the aforementioned skinheads, or some other weird fetishists.
Of course anyone wearing tallish boots for no good reason gets a dubious ranking automatically.

I'm sorry, everyone, I was just amused to see, on Ebay, how skinhead style - which I've known in England for 40 years - has become a heavily gay style. I wonder if I'd mentioned 'gay interest' on the shoes I've got on there they might have attracted more interest. Each to their own, of course.
Tall boots are filled nicely by young women.
