Anyone Own A '21'?

Burberrys' again.  I'd like to know much, much more.

So that's 53 'no's', then, is it?

Re: Anyone Own A '21'?

I have to confess to ignorance on this one as my raincoats come from Aquascutum. Burberry is a Chav brand but what is a 21?

Re: Anyone Own A '21'?

It's apparently an expensive Burberrys' trenchcoat; for export only.  I once saw a coat hanging up in the loo at Russell Street, but I don't know what it was or which of the lads it belonged to.  Burberrys' isn't necessarily a chav brand - although 'Burberry' and 'Thomas Burberry' are dubious.  Aquascutum is also being hi-jacked you'll find.  I saw a secondhand, Canadian made beauty a few weeks ago, but not in my size.

Re: Anyone Own A '21'?

I think I've got the original 21 -- the one made in England with all the trimmings.  Cost me about 800 at the time.  Kind of go with the single breasted now; also have an old Brooks version that's not bad.  English-made, but heavier and a more stodgy cut then the Burberry if you can imagine it.
