FNB, I believe, runs the whole show. Russell Street rather ran 'Talk Ivy' - officially or unofficially. I've been doing my best, since my friend's illness, to keep the show on the road. Some are dissatisfied. I know you can't please all the people all the time, and I have posted too many irrelevant threads. My apologies to the majority, and, to those who think they know better I say: Come on over and direct the traffic.
I honestly think you have done a wonderful job Mister Panic.
Are these critics really the 'majority' or a small group of ever present, miserable gets, who always feel they know better?
The forum is a busy and colourful place with some great contributors. Its open to new ideas, fresh and amusing, not some dusty old relic as I imagine some folk would love it to be.
You should be congratulated on your work here.
If people don't like it etc...
I think i'm out of the loop then, but is Mr Street not feeling well? I was wondering why I hadnt seen more of his presence
Rip don't doubt yourself......Sterling work from you......Best to RS too....
The forum would be a much 'quieter' place without you Andy.
I don't think I'd visit as much.
you've done a great job RRP keep going on.
Don't fear the Ripper:

Strong work indeed RRP.
Question remains: do we actually need someone to pull it? Someone dropping the question marks? Would it be alive without him?
Post what you want to see, if you don't like what you see.
Start the conversations you want to have along side all the rest on here.
This isn't the Telly... It's a medium that you can also have your say in. That's the point. So don't just sit back & be unhappy - Join in & make the forum into what you want it to be. Who can stop you?
Also... Who else here stood up to play MC while I'm crapping Rubies?
Andy was the only one.
These days I like my tea too much to toss into a harbor, but I would consider tossing the hard drives of certain servers of certain places.
But yes, one of the great things about this whole net thing is that anyone can do it. And they do.
Blast. Hit the wrong key...
As I was about to say, and some do it well and it is appreciated very much.

RRP; really enjoyed your input into the forum. It has had quite a strong British slant which could be annoying to some perhaps? Not me though.
As my dear friend Quay knows, I'll be in France for a while soon, so you'll have to rub by as best you can without me. I shall be following Quay's well-considered advice on eating and savouring the pleasures of that wonderful, civilised country.
Oh, now you're getting cocky Mister Panic. The humble phase didn't last too long, did it?
See what I mean?
The (almost) silence is (almost) deafening in your absence.
