When all's said and done, he does care about quality. The subject of footwear - particularly outsourced footwear - seems to be getting a good airing today.

Flusser and so many others will tell you they should be your number one priority. I don't disagree with that point of view by any means. I've owned a single pair of John Lobb. My father and grandfather both wore Church. Nowadays, though, I have to go cheap and cheerful.
