Interesting ... On the history of the company, I remember my high school history teacher saying how they (when still based in the Czechoslovak Republic in the interwar period) pushed countless shoemaker artisans out of business. And later on, I leafed through a book from the 1930s in a second-hand bookshop that was basically a tirade against them destroying most of the independent shoe production in Central Europe.
Still, hmmm, might give those boots a second try. Provided the silly chicks at the shop can come up with a proper size.
