I still have several pairs. My favourites are early 1990s versions with gumsoles and single coloured uppers, I have those in both burgundy and brown. I really have too many shoes.

This morning, in the rain - wishing I was wearing my Stetson cap - the simplicity of Pendleton and Bean.  Plus a nice Press lambswool scarf.  Oldish US Army combat jacket, a la Woody, zipped over the lot.  Then, instead of Weejuns in the rain 'Take Ivy' style, Clarks' desert boots.
