Not available to the United Kingdom.  I'm seeing this more and more on Ebay USA.  They're unwilling to send movies, too, it seems.  Do they dislike us so much or is it just that they can't be bothered to get the item weighed?

Possibly, but their fees are all over the place.  No logic at all.

Ditto, few people will pass up the chance of a sale, particular as ebay is quite slow these days.

What I have noticed lately is that I have been stung for Customs duty every time on parcels from the US. I am talking about second hand clothing that is just over the £18 value threshold that would slipped through a few months ago.

I suspect that HMRC staff are facing cutbacks like the rest of the public sector. The response I am seeing within central government is that people suddenly start getting very busy and conscientious to show just how valuable they are. In the case of Customs this probably means not spending so much time trying to detect small consignments of drugs but instead targetting every parcel that is liable for duty. Drug seizures don't show up in the revenue figures.

I snagged this. I was also wary of the 8" drop.  It could be an "athletic fit" size 40 or a size 39, or even a mis-measured size 38.

See now, that's the fit I need. If the jackets fit me, the trousers are often too big in the waist. Say the jacket's a 40, the trousers are often a 34 and I need a 30-32 waist. I've seen some great suits on your site Zach, but the trousers are usually a 34-36. I suppose I could get them taken in at the waist - never had that done though. I've got a good seamstress - is it easy to do?

Taking in the trousers waist is a very easy and basic alteration. A good tailor will even slim down the leg accordingly if needed.  Sometimes I even do a full taper down the bottom for a narrower leg opening. Basically all trousers alterations are easy for a skilled tailor/seamless.

Just got this.  Your wariness was warranted.  It is about 38-39 SHORT, and is more blue than gray.  Very nice herringbone fabric though.  Expect to see it the shop soon.
