Pat - what sort of office is cold enough to wear a shirt & tie & vest/ jumper PLUS tweed SC?
you should go all bolshie and get onto the union rep and have a whinge or get the OH&S bloke to whack a canary on the room.
That's my drafty home, which I keep at about 68 F, maybe 70 if it's really blowing outside.
White BB, slim ocbd
Fawn Everest shetland sweater (actual chest size: 38)
Dark grey/charcoal O` Connell`s Cavalry twill trousers : Medium rise, and tapered to 16 inches at hem. (size 30)
Brown O`Connell`s cord sack (size 41)
Dark Brown Original Playboy suede chukka shoes (size 9 and half)
Dark blue/Navy ribbed wool socks (size 9-11)
^ For me, my attraction to the above is in the proportions, and silhouette. I think it helps, alot, if you have broad, wide shoulders and a slim waist.( This look is all predicated on big shoulders...). The look draws attention to the shoulders, and slim waist, but in a subtle, elegant way. Rather than wearing tacky "slim fit".
Ivy black tie tonight. Shawl collar sack tux, black shell cordo Florsheim longwings on my feet instead of pumps or patents.
Liking that corn snake.

I do really really like that black edging on the Braemar but I find it hard to love longwings - the Chester has a nice everyday clompy look that I'm sure shooey would approve of.
