An un-inspired morning, today. I felt in a "un-projective mood": wanting to be `anonymous`; and yet...
(The days of wanting to try and "set the world on fire" with fantastic clothes choices are long gone; but I think my clothing, today, might have been a reactionary impulse and motivation , after yesterday`s choices. Yesterday was probably as far as i go in terms of "pushing the boat out").
I think i`ve tried to reflect the above, with my resulting choices, as honestly as possible.
White Hanes cotton T shirt, layered under a cream, natural coloured, Aran knit crew neck sweater. The hand-knit sweater is soft, lofty, stretchy, un-heavy; and was picked up for the proverbial "song" from a small tourist shop in Darjeeling, India, when i was a "backpacker".(Some on here, would have it, that i still am...
).
Dark blue, slightly faded, levi 501 jeans (USA made). Small turn-ups.
Cream, ribbed wool, Wigwam crew socks
Chocolate brown, suede, Original Playboy chukka shoes
Hair `dressed` with Pashana hair tonic

Brooks Madras under forest green Paul Stuart crew-neck sweater
346 vintage hopsack blazer in sage green
Bill's M1
Falke nutmeg socks
Florsheim plain brown shoes
Burberrys' fly-fronted
Your new Florsheim Andy? How are they?
Standard stuff at my end.
White T
Blue Uni stripe OCBD
Natural coloured Shetland crew
Brown 5 pocket cords
Ecru Woolen fishing socks
Cola DB's.
Duffle coat
Lambswool Blackwatch Scarf
Is that sweater natural/oatmeal sort of coloured or is it yellow? Hard to tell from the photo.
That bold stripe I like very much.
It is in honour of your motherland, sweater is oatmeal. Jacket is Harris Tweed, with not a great deal of any padding at all just a decent weight canvas.. Needs to be chipped though due to me slope-like shoulders.
It's not a real Scottish jacket 'til it's got a chip on the shoulder.
Looks braw.

Hair massaged and dressed with Pashana `American Bay Rum` hair tonic
Wigwam 625 socks. (As amazing as socks can get, which is more than the average person might think. Thanks to Moose for the tip. A natural, rather than sickly brilliant shit-80s, white.)
Brown wide-wale Sta-Prest, thanks to Woofboxer. I was petrified they'd be too short. They're the shortest trousers I own and about perfect. (Consider that I always walk away from my tailor feeling I've lost the battle in regard to hemming.)
Mister Freedom chambray. One of the most extravagant purchases I've made but I effing love it.
Brown shawl cardigan, cotton newsboy cap, leather gloves.
Brown Red Wing (3141). Where the fuck are my Florsheim? The guy didn't post them for ages, and now tracking tells me… they're lingering in customs while evil men plot the most heinous extortion. Then it'll be the courier company's turn to take the piss. I'll be lucky to get away with £75.
Made in China Alpha M-65.
Surplus tubular US army scarf.
Brady fishing bag, finally getting a little battered.

That's a peach. How's it when buttoned. Looks like it is sitting a touch big on your chest from the photo. Could just be how you stood though. Great colour, and I like the Herringbone.

I'm certain Colin will grow into that jacket...
The Pineapple Express has come to a halt for the moment. Not such a bad day after the past few.
501's
chukkas
yellow Brooks OCBD
mushroom shetland
Yeah, it is a touch on the big side, but it doesn't bother me that much. I don't mind if it's a bit 'slouchy'. I'll grow into it a bit, though. I normally wear it with a shetland underneath.
That's what I like about Ivy that kind of RTW off-beat style if you're a thin chap it normally makes for a better look.
