Great jacket, Oo Bop! The Caesar suits you, too...
Congratulations, Daniele!
For me today;
Moss Green tweed 3/2 sack
Navy shetland crew
Green Uni stripe OCBD w/ white t under it
Olive cord 5 pockets
Navy blue wool rib socks
Beater DB's in Cola.
Clear and bright so I might get the opportunity to wear my tortoiseshell wayfarers too- the smaller 60's framed style- when I get out and about.
All is right with the world.
Bleeding Madras
Navy Pendleton cardie
Jeans
olive, navy, green, browns my type of colours! It says, ''I'll party, undoubtedly, but in quite a reserved manner.''
Where as black and grey just says, ''Hello, I'm here to take your life.''
Herringbone - workhorse jacket
Knitwear and sweatshirts
Flannels
Socks
you can look at colours as purely tradition, you know, like this:
navy blue and shades of grey: work (or "town")
olive, khaki, brown and all the earth shades: play (or "country")
black or midnight blue: evening clothes
of course, the town and country thing is not that strict nowadays (as long as you don't work in the financial sector) and you can play with it...
shoes only black or brown (oxblood/ cordo, of course, counts as brown, sneakers and white bucks/ saddle bucks are an exception)...
dress shirts white or pale blue, maybe pink, if you can pull it off, sports shirts in pastels and in the tartan colours...
you can also think of the colours as seasonal: shades of olive are autumnal, light shades of khaki, natural white and pastel shades are spring/ summer colours...
