I hate a crepe sole in the cold and ice. Dangerous stuff. In slush, I'd just be worried that I'd wreck them... if they weren't wrecked already.
I'm not leaving the house today;
Stone sta prest, with pretty much no prest left in them. No belt.
Powdery blue Uniqlo cashmere crew neck
Heathery blue Pringle cotton rag socks
Sebago Campsides.

Just where were these nice photos taken?
Strangely enough I find them pretty good, dessert boots lethal, but wallabies are ok.
Lovely. I really enjoyed seeing those.
Yes I agree. A very welcome sight OCBD and it did look like a beautiful day. Thanks.
I love the Arran/Irish Fishermans sweater too. Glad to see someone else here who wears one. Fair play to your sister for knitting it too. I imagine it's a real test of concentration and a serious investment of time to knit one of those by hand.
Thanks Kingstonian. Nice colours available. I'm lucky in that the charity shops up my way are usually rammed with the hand knitted variety so that's where I go hunting.
The one I have at the moment is very much like OCBD's. It wears like outerwear. Fantastically warm and durable. I can never tell what's the front or the back though... it's also hard to tell if it's inside-out.
Inspired by Chris` Invertere
Plain, thin, white Hanes cotton t
Navy Johnstons cashmere rollneck (a slimmer rather thah looser fit)
Filsons `Dark Gray` whipcord trousers. Tapered.
Navy, cotton, ribbed socks
Rich brown George Cox suede Playboy boots
Camel , corduroy, Invertere Buffercoat (navy shawl collar)
I think the outfit needs a dressy watch, with the casmere an all. I have a vintage 1960`s Omega watch but i need to get the right colour blue leather strap for it (maybe `Daimler` blue?).

OCBD, cool photos indeed, and cool outfit. I'm a fan of Aran/Irish fisherman sweaters too.
Scootering to work today, a bit hazardous given the meteo; fingers crossed! black ribbed turtleneck, mid brown suede/wool cardie, charcoal covert trousers, dark green Clark's DB (I think that the right name is Suede Tobacco or something similar), chocolate brown cotton ribbed socks, dark green vintage nubuck gloves.
Chocolate brown wollen scarf with tan pinstripes, Parka M51.
Orange vintage Boeri jet helmet and Halcyon goggles.
And a smile for when cops at traffic lights stare at me in suspicion...:-)

I have a very powerful odour.
I believe it's called a 'musk' . All alpha males produce it in large quantities. Chensvold looks like he's constantly glistening with the stuff.
I just spilt some beer on it.
I much prefer the look from that revised pic btw. Put something in your hanging basket though. Even if it's just some sphagnum for the benefit of the beasties and the birds. Eco-Ivy.
No, but it is looking very thin. Time to 'Go Wogan'.
