Re: JS' Corduroy Shirts

Just enough fullness, without going nuts, specially in the sleeve.

Re: JS' Corduroy Shirts

Nice. I have a wide definition I suppose, but that goes down as slim to me. I wonder what the wale is. I might wonder enough to ask them, in fact.

I wonder if they're the JS chinos... (belt loops off the waist).

Re: JS' Corduroy Shirts

I just looked at the other photos. Those chinos look well nice. He's gone for no cuffs.

Looks like a medium/fine wale on the shirt.

Sharp & Dapper Shirt Stays. "The Shirt Companion"

Price: £19.99
Quantity:

Colour:

SHARP&DAPPER REVIVES A CLASSIC GENTLEMANS’ ACCESSORY FOR THE MODERN MAN.
Already a success globally and valued by the world's smartest gentlemen, The Shirt Companion is hitting London's Jermyn Street later this month. Keeping his shirt tucked in and his socks pulled up, these unique 'suspenders for men' are already valued by barmen in top class London venues such as Milk & Honey. An accessory they can rely on for the right image and impression.

The accessory finds its roots in the early 20th century, when looking smart was paramount. Despite living in a casual world today, looking tidy is still important to many men, from the West End to the City and beyond. By attaching four individual braces between your shirt & socks, they keep your shirt securely tucked in & your socks pulled up. As comfortable as it seems quirky, you can even wear them cycling. No one will know you’re wearing them, but your scruffy un-tucked shirt will reveal you're not.

Re: JS' Corduroy Shirts

Does anyone know if John Simons sends clothes into other countries?  I'd be really interested in some of his shirts, but no chance to get to London too soon... Those cord shirts are REALLY nice smile

Re: JS' Corduroy Shirts

I'd be interested to know as to how people like a shirt to fit, in the arms, particulary. I don't think many of us here would be of the spray on variety. The favourite fit i've found in the body is lacoste. They still cut to a full size, but it's just right i think. Helps that their shirts are by small steps between sizes. And not alpha like some casual shirts

Re: JS' Corduroy Shirts

I like them long in the arm, down to the upper thumb joint and slim in the body, though I don't mind a fuller fit either. I really dislike shirts hanging out, looks pretty awful on a middle aged man.

Re: JS' Corduroy Shirts

I've ordered to Canada before through email/phone.

I like the shirt but have a feeling it would be too much drape for me. A cream colored cord would be killer though.
