No it doesn't NS, but Great Job A+++ is a little like buying a record graded as Ex+ but when it comes its more like VG-. We'll have to agree to disagree about being able to tell about the fit from the picture. It clearly looks short in the arms and pulls across the shoulders. It maybe that Repp likes to wear it short and tight. I dunno. Still standing by the colours comment. Needs something darker trews wise, that'll be better for the jacket and the pink shirt. Dunno where the blue socks are coming from. They look well odd to me. Just throwing ideas out here. Nothing more.
I knew I should have worn my seersucker dinner jacket with black grosgrain shawl.
I have a terrible feeling I know whose beard that is.
I think it is the very talented, but socially inept nattydeado. Cue a lot of shit throwing and general disturbance. It'll be more a short sharp shower than a sustained heavy shitstorm.
And this is just to celebrate I hit 200 posts.
Well let's wait and see. He has been contrary a lot of times, telling Soggs he didn't care for a particular jacket then a few months later celebrating the fact he now had one himself. No one is perfect mind, but some people are just very draining. As for dismissing things I used to really like preppy colours still do in a way, but they are a git Gaudi. I don't know, our tastes change. The difference is Ivy is very much a system of classic menswear, it's kind of like something removed from style and fashion, purpose built in a way. Which is why I am really taken by it more than anything else. Other than Italian and British tailoring. Have to admit ANdy was always right about the purpose of a lot of Ivy and how you shoudn't try too hard. Negates what the point of it is, which is even when dressed smartly it is to be relaxed.

Don't think its Nutty Bollox. He wouldn't dress like that and I think he'd like Cricket blazers. He didn't get that jacket, just posted a picture of him in it in the 2nd hand shop he found it. Think he wanted to see if he could get the sleeves lengthened by about a foot and elbow patches over the button holes on the cuff before buying. Still, it was good that he came round to thinking that Attolini clothes aren't crap.
I'm liking the look of the General anyway. I'd wear all those garments. Great contrast on the socks. Or is that just the light?

I have enough troubles!
Knowing Steve, it's certainly not him. Not his style at all.
We are looking for a similar bearded man then, this feels like crimewatch.
Navy J Keydge `Ivy` Slack jacket, upsized (size 52, i`m a 38 chest)
Persol 714 52mm 24/57 (tortoiseshell/brown lenses)
St. James solid grey `Piriac` boatneck t : http://global.rakuten.com/en/store/jalana/item/sj-piriac-gry/ . More fitted fit, rather than looser. Worn untucked.
Uniqlo chalkish white/grey summerweight, lower rise, thin cotton chinos. No break and very tapered.
Thin gold chain and small pendant, tucked inside t shirt
Prs10 watch with lightb khaki g10 strap
Sperry Striper bone coloured lace up canvas deck shoes
Feels very `Mod` (despite the lower rise chinos). The jacket fit has the look and visual feel of some of those cream coloured `ice cream seller`jackets that used to be worn.
I'll just get my magnifying glass ...........
George you take the 'crowne'
