you are right... thing is - I did not find more than probably five interesting pics of him (clothes-wise). That one e.g. I see for the first time...
Get a list of his films, and then search Mike Nicholas on set 'insert film title' you'll get some good pics.

I'm going to like this guy. Just wondering, what is your opinion of Margaret Thatcher?

Never really liked school milk anyway...
That's what I say - if you want free milk, get a cow.
Margaret Thatcher is a cow.
I sort of liked Olivers look a couple day ago. The only thing I would have done differently were the sneakers and the collar.... so today and tonight was;
Vintage navy blue Raglan sleeve cardi- Varsity style but without letters or stripes- unbuttoned
Deadstock Harvard CoOp blue OCBD- top button undone
Scottish lambswool Rooster tie. Burgundy with french navy/teal/ochre hoops- knotted loosely
Uniqlo Khaki chino's
Navy ragg socks
Hacked El Salvadorian Weejuns- burgundy
1 weeks beard.
8-4-2 haircut, parted but not combed
This is the alcoholic Geography teacher look in full effect. I love it.
Galeries Lafayette Beige Herringbone 3/2 Jacket from JS Vintage Room
White Undershirt
B.D. Baggies - Sage Green bd Long Sleeve Shirt
Edwins 55 Burner Wash Jeans
Massimo Dutti green Socks
Bass Weejun Logan Burgundy Flat Strap Loafers *
* May change to Russell and Bromley Longwing Brogues (Danite Sole) if it rains before I pop
into Richmond to buy some clobber from Lizard Clothing.

I never wear jeans with a jacket I have to say but that sounds just about right to me. I like dark green sta prest with burgundy Weejuns but that's about as daring as I go, these days colour wise. I'm far more conservative than you Lee, I think. But if it's one thing I can admire it's braver souls than myself so more power to you.
You said you were in your 50's on another thread, right? How long has Ivy been an influence for you Lee? I guess you have been a mod for years, has Ivy (even if you didn't call it that) been a part of your wardrobe for a while too? I'm interested because we often talk here about people feeling their way unknowingly towards The Look for a long time. Is this your experience?
As colourful as I get I think today;
Yellow/white candy stripe Brooksgate madras BD
Navy raglan sleeve cardigan
Stone twill US made Levis 519's tapered to a 14" bottom/no break/12"rise
Off white Wool/cotton ragg socks
white US made Vans (probably about the 5th time I've worn these and feeling a bit precious even though I know they aren't of any great vintage)
Nice and neat 8-4-2 and clean shaven.

That may be true satorially Liam, but Lee is a Thatcher man. ![]()
