Be nice to see the jacket in detail H, calm and collected as always.
Doh - ignore the above - wow, you don't get that from the previous shot - looked almost navy before.

Couple of clicks up on the rise of those chinos and imo that be perfect, and the jacket looks top mate. To repeat big l's statement, lovely stuff.
Nice look H, I'm with you on the rise. Don't listen to Bop, he'd have in trews with a drawstring so you could do them up round your neck.
Real men wear a 12" rise absolute top. Only women and crossdressers wear higher. FACT.
I don't doubt you have a vast amount of stored pictures of young men in high rise trews and other womens garments.
I think my trouble with it, is that when you have the rise low, it stops looking 'ivy' or conversely, starts to look Hackett/toff style. If you have it too high then obviously it looks like you should be in a Dutch euthanasia clinic.
Aye, it's just taste, and I know why Soggs doesn't like it, because he starts to look like this! The man is on stilts!

Of course I don't think Bop is implying H's trousers are low rise. They aren't. Higher would be good. Lower wouldn't. But they look good to me.
I agree, I'd prefer them about 1/2 an inch higher

I'm pretty sure H isn't giving off that look.
The only reason I mention is cause we sell a lot of BD's and 5-pockets, and the only reason I can think that two articles that a pretty standard Ivy don't look ivy on the guys in the shop is cause the rise is normally about 11'', it does make a difference. IMO, but I still don't think H looks like he should be off down Edward Street.
That was not what I was saying. If you mean 12bar he looks good.
I was stating another FACT!
I'm sure money has already tried to pass hands.
;-)
Today, I are been mostly rocking dark olive herringbone with chambray. Shouldn't work, but it does.
