Re: Ivy League style for today

As a second generation Mayo man myself, I have been to the Leeds Irish club many times over the years.

Please do not place the dispicable Moyles at our doorstep.

I would gladly embrace Clarkson before that talentless, bloated ball of ego...

What about Peter Sutcliffe ? A man who confirmed his yorkshire credentials by going back to pick up a fiver he'd dropped during one of his attacks.

Re: Ivy League style for today

I agree Armchaired... a great sense of community in such places.. I'd hate to see em disappear...I've an Irish Ma/Czech Hungarian Pa..so am all for keeping links.....
I see the Poles as the new Irish to a degree..I'm not too far away from that Polish Cultural Centre between H'smith & Chiswick which is almost (or was) a mini Poland in the surrounding area..there's loads of Polish deli's and the like cropped up in recent years nearer my way, W12....
Still some great Irish boozers in Shepherds Bush which I hope never get the modern touch as well but it's not great for pubs generally these days is it?

Re: Ivy League style for today

Where I live right now is full of Poles. Lots of Polish deli's and mini markets... the local Tesco now has a full Polish aisle (when I first moved here in 2004 they had an aisle end for Polish produce). I'd say every third person you see/hear in the street is Polish. Most moved here about 5 years ago and many have started families. If nothing else the next few generations of Scottish born Poles will boost the average height and attractiveness of the current population.

Re: Ivy League style for today

Well there's the whole Castle pub thingy in Camden - originally set up to stop the English/Irish/Scottish/Welsh Navvies beating the bejaysus out of each other....

Re: Ivy League style for today

I haven't. It's hard to get a hold of here Soggs. I know it's a Scandinavian brand so you probably see a lot more than I do.

from what I have seen though the construction is good, the materials used are bullet proof and the fit is great.

I know Tom has a jacket by them too. His looked rather nice I have to say, though the flap on the breast pocket isn't for me. That's small potatoes though. A good brand with good ideas going in a very interesting direction, I'd say.
