Good god man, he looks like too much of a cherub to play anyone of hard living credentials!

Re: Ivy League style for today

It's true. He looks young and doesn't look ruined enough. But few young actors do. The lad who's playing Dean looks too healthy too.

There just aren't enough gristly actors about.

He is a good actor though. And he's likeable and not to obviously a leading man. I think that'll stand him in good stead to play Sal. The big question is can this other chap be Dean?

Time will tell.

Let's hope they all take up asthma inhalers and hard drinking in the meantime.

Sam Riley is a good actor in my opinion, Control was such a good film. Didn't like him in Brighton Rock, the film was just boring the Mods and Rockers backdrop was just silly.

I'd love a pair of the Red Wing Postman boots, if anyone spies a bargain...

I've got a recent hankering for some Red Wings as well.

29" I think they look a little long in front, but barely graze my shoes in the rear.

I meant the cuff at the end of the leg, like 9 inches across or something like that?

Sorry, it is still pretty early. About 7.5 across.

They're never 7.5. They look about 8.5?

It’s hard to tell from photos but there looks potentially a lot of flapabilty there.
Even for a small guy it’s got to be 8.5

Re: Ivy League style for today

I have to admit I thought that was one of those west coast style Madras smocks. I thought you'd gone all surfie on us, D.

Colours look lovely. The madras muted and perfectly suited to the pants. Niceness.
