Re: Ivy League style for today

Mostly to a time before the vinegar factory was turned into flats. The place Rebatos was actually Spanish not Portuguese now I google it.

Harrow Road is also very Portuguese near Kensal Rise.

Swan pub is I think where Jim ended up after an encounter with skinheads back in the day.

There was a Youngs pub called the Surprise on the Wandsworth Road and there is another good place in Stockwell - Priory Arms good beers and handy for a drink before  going into Brixton for a concert

^ Don't know. SW8 was Monday to Friday for me. Rodigan was after my time anyway.

^ Yeah,I think Rodigan was eighties /nineties, not that i went ,it was a seriously brothers  only venue I knew a few guys who were regulars though (obviously they were black). It is nice to visit the old places, maybe i have gone a bit soft but there is an edge to it down there, and as new groups move in you feel like you do not belong anymore.
