Re: Ivy League style for today

Cheers fellas. The trousers are Levi's from a few years ago. I can't remember the model, but Tomiskinky had a pair too, I think. The fit on them is a bit strange. Not quite sure what's happening but it's as if there some loose fabric in the front, and it's on the wrong places so you get unfortunate puckering on the groin area. Otherwise I likes 'em. Shoes are modern Vietnamese Clarks. The rest is vintage. The polo was deadstock. Jacket has no labels other that the union tag.

Welt, Heikki – yeah, back in Finland since June. And it's good to be home. I had a great time yesterday. The band was steamin'! They played three nights in a row in Helsinki to celebrate the release of the new live album, and I believe they're off to central Europe next. Not sure they're playing Oslo. Have you seen them Soggs?

Patrick & Henry - looking cool. I would love that cord shirt.

No worries Bop. I have found them to be really inconsistent in their fit. I have another pair in charcoal, purchased around the same time, and they don't suffer from this problem. Great color too - I should have bought two pairs of those.

Yeah I have to say I like H's look the best, he has the McQueen thing down. It's subtle, cool, and yeah I'm going to say it, timeless.

I'd probably look happier than you there, if I owned one. smile

Bet it looks good with the Longwings. What did they do on the trousers then?

Re: Ivy League style for today

Permit me to geek, how much did they let out, an inch or two? The leg still looks quite full on thigh even though the trouser has been let out, unless of course they had been originally taken in when you got it, weren't you a bit worried about the drop when you go it, I think overall it looks good, it's not skinners, but then it's not swamping you.

Is there anything you're not happy with on it?
