They must be damn thick then. The Wigwam socks I have are probably the thickest socks I own.
On the list cheers bud.
Are you wearing those trousers as highwaters?
I wear them high, just touching the the of the DBs. Not really high waters but (as I'm sure you can tell) I fold them up once, to help defend from the road splash that lingers on these horrible overcast winter days.
Anyone have any trouble with Wigwams "quitting" after you wear them a while? Mine just don't seem snug enough and sometimes end up slipping down my ankles.
That's how I pictured them being worn in my head Liam, good stuff. I haven't had any problems with mine yet WM, but then I've only had them a few months.
Might check those socks out for in te redwings Liam, cheers.
Nice outfit, Topman (yeah yeah - I'm only the messenger) are sellin 'new' pendeltons half price, not bought one as they all seemed to be mediums and I need a small, typical.
Today I have worn
Woolwich John & Son plaid hunting jacket
Green/white Yale gingham b/d
Fairisle vest
Beaten up selvedge denims with 1" roll
Blue corgi socks
Green suede clarks wallabee
No probs Tom.
I take a small in vintage Pendleton generally and the only modern (Assembled in Mexico) one I have fits only slightly larger. I am a 36" chest bang on.... are you sure you really need a small? They will shrink up a little in the wash after all. Might end up pretty snug on the chest?
It's hard to gauge these things when you are buying new I suppose.
Thanks, Harpo as well as others. A great compliment. The tie was made by Nickelson's of London, I think. Perfect width ties, as well. Slim not skinny. Couldn't find their website, I found a link to their website on here about a year ago. Was wearing the jacket with darker grey cuffed flannels and brown pebblegrain wingtips in case anyone was interested.
For anyone interested http://www.michelsons.com/retail-home.php?range_id=125
Michelon's, not Nickelson's. They have particularly cheesy photos of shiny ties on their website.
What a great start to the thread this year! Colin, love that look. Liam, great to have you posting pics. I like the montage. Next time a fit pic?
Now that's the expression of a man who's known suffering!
Looking great as always, though Patrick.
Love it Patrick. But what's the mystery blob on the floor?
Ville, An actual picture was what I intended but the jeans weren't properly dry yet and I had run myself short in time.
The blob remains a mystery. I will watch its future progress with considerable interest.
I should add, if you look at it closely and in a very dim light it looks like Fred Astaire with a third eye. Very iGent/reptilian.

It's giving me the fear. Don't let it out of the Giant vibrator.
It's good stuff, Harpo. But my thumbs have gone all weird and my hearts beating like a fucked clock.
