Cheers, it's the £8 handling fee that riles, VAT was only £3.
It's 2 months since originally cut Oli, so gained length again, will be getting a trim again soon.
I was running a bit late tbh and grabbed the sta prest - not tried the jacket with many combos as only received it last night. Think it'll look bang on with flannels and jeans too, still hunting some neutral cords too, I have a pair but need to loose an inch or 2 on the belly to fit again!!

I think I mentioned before when H got stung that a mate of mine in the Royal Mail sorting office said they have been told to look at more packages from the states lately. It used to be the case that they only checked packages over a certain weight and then every one in 10 packages. Any packages in that over a certain price was given the duty treatment.
Now they are checking a quarter of packages and anything over £10 value that is checked is subject to charges. Seems very mean and I'm not sure why the change in policy but I've certainly felt the impact.
Revenue dear boy! All the more reason to shop at M&S!
Like I said, it was the handling fee I was offended by, that was £8 set charge which takes the piss when the item was cheap. If it had cost me £10 the fee would of come to more than the item, ludicrous.
I take greater offence of OCBD's turned up corduroys!
Sorry to go on, but I think if you're going to take influence of those Watt pics, which to many on here have nothing to do with Ivy, if you had the vintage 501's and shirts etc, that would be an exciting thing, because I think people on here, although tastes vary, are ultimately vintage geeks.
If I'm permitted to have one gripe, and not because it might be deemed as being un-ivy or not, it's untapered slacks, and when you add a turn up to that, especially on a cord, I just think they look really bad, sorry OX! Everything else he wears is pretty similar to what I wear for work.

You can have as many gripes as you want mate. I quite like a turn up on a pair of cords. I also think OCBD's trousers would look better with a slight taper, but in general I like his look. I have taken to wearing alot of my trousers with a 8" hem which is the least tapered I've worn them in years, but the more 60s trousers and suits I buy the more I realise the norm wasn't extremely tapered. 7.75 to 8 is the sweet spot for me.
I can't get my foot into anything less than 7.75, and yes I agree 8 is the max for me too.
