That probably makes the difference. Austrians and many Germans are not shy to show stuff that's ugly or uncool... probably hard to tell what it is... in German style fora you can see similar stuff, but nobody seems to bother. I like them. They look awful, but hey - we are on Hoth since yesterday!
And thats why you lead the world in fetish wear!

Actually I have just found out that Hunters are now made in China so perhaps not so superior. As you were.
After all the unpleasantness it’s nice just to discuss “gear “The boots are certainly ugly
But warm no doubt .After a lot of traveling yesterday it’s a day of working from home and not leaving the farm.
Hanes Top T
Brooks Black watch type, sports flannel US made.
Trusty Bean flannel line chinos Stone
Brooks argyle socks, slightly dandyish in a Blue, black and orange.
LL bean Blucher mocs.
Mmm, I agree those boots are hideous. Re those striped Shetlands being Ivy. I think that they'd need to be worn with some other fairly obvious Ivy items for the wearer to have the Ivy look. If I saw Max in the ensemble he posted in the street for instance, I wouldn't peg him as another Ivyist. Sorry Max, not picking on you my man, I just don't have another example.

Pretty hideous, but somewhat charming. Better than some modern Gore Tex stuff. And today is a day where all footwear fails except traditional mid-European Maronibrater boots or those rubber boots. Good ole lined Wellies would do the trick, too. Even my Red Wings would fail today. I would have worn them, believe me. They look better than the Planet Hoth gears.

Only in the same way serial killers can be charming
They are here forth re named as the Bundy Boot!
I wonder how they'd look with a tweed suit?
