THis stuff is as close as I could get to buying new and getting something I'd like but, I still wouldn't bother, so much vintage still to be had out there, at a quarter the price, and a lot of fun finding it. I couldn't bring myself to pay £60 for a t, maybe I'm missing the point, but this stuff is way over priced. More money has probably been spent on the merchandising.
Just to add I know picking up certain models of these levis are probably more expensive than the reissues, but just look for alternatives, like Alexanders.

^ totally agree with that.
I've never paid full price for any LVC stuff, but the good news is the stuff I like usually turns up in the sales and heavily discounted.
Their 505's might actually be worth the money as they have lasted better than any other pair of denims I've bought in recent times.
Just waiting on a pair of chinos from Alexanders, and they could be the option for 5 pockets in the future for me (waiting for swatches that are coming with the chinos before I make a choice).
It might even be worth 'a sticky' for Current Ivy Options as just a listing of sympathetic shops and suppliers.
Yes, would be a great help, I would say Alexanders are very good at doing exactly what you ask, my problem so far has been asking for the wrong thing!

^That's why I went for chinos first with Alexanders, as I had enough pairs I like and were a similar shape to get the taper ratios (for thigh to knee and knee to hem) correct and avoid saggy hip issues.
5 pockets will be a totally different story as my faves all have completely different fits.
I think i went wrong on the ones i had made, were I didn't copy a set trousers, I just tried to work it out from two existing pairs i liked bit on, but the real biggy is working out wear the knee is from the outside leg measurement to get a good taper.
I would commit horrendous and reprehensible crimes for a pair of those denim Super Slims and powder blue cord Slim Fits! Are those pics from your personal wardrobe, Liam??
Where can I find the "White Levi's" reish's in the above posted sky blue colorway for sale online?
Thanks!
Sadly not Oliver. The super slims are from a denim forum and are the only shots I've ever seen of a pair of deadstock super slims. The powder blue pics I grabbed from ebay. Don't feel bad for missing them though. I think they were are a 26" waist.
I do own one pair of the'White' Levis slim fits in the same sort of colour as you have in the reissued 519. Again ebay, and I paid more than I wanted.... and I haven't worn them yet. They were a 29" waist but really they are a 28" max. Steve McQueen Fan found those for me months and months ago.
Are the White Levi's reissues from an older season because I can't find a single online stockist by way of Google?
It's an upcoming collection Oliver, not yet in the shops.
Thanks, they'll be mine then!
They look like stove pipes dont they. No taper just really thin legs
I hope those are just bad photos.
Ebay is a pisstake
The Originals are ace. Are those reish the upcoming 518s?
I've seen some piss poor photos of the bedford cords online, and imo they fit better than any of the vintage boom years stuff I've owned, so I'm willing to try 'em out. The rise looks a bit skimpy though and the rear pockets aren't flattering... hopefully the cut turns out better in real life. Are they a cotton-cord fabric or that stretch denim?
