Ok I had to check this just to make sure. The longest jacket I own is that Langrock one I bought from Typhoid Jones. it measures 31" from the base of collar to hem, this jacket measures 29" from the base of collar to the hem. When worn, measuring down from the top of my tie knot to the middle button both are the same measurement 13". there is 10"between top and bottom button hole on both jackets. the button placing is standard. I can see how the jacket would be too short for a lot of peoples taste but I think alot of people wear jackets that look too long.
I prefer a shorter jacket really, I guess I'm just used to seeing you in a bit longer. I think Yuca would have something to say thou!
I used to wear a pink shirt quite a bit when i worked sales a few years back. I always got positive comments on it, but I do live in Brighton and it's quite a pink town
I like the jacket length, shorter jackets are in for the hip kids. Think I'd have worn black shoes myself with the suit.
Pinks good. When I was a young kid I had a pair of pink hipsters made. Never did wear them. Its all a learning curve isn't it? Ace colour for a jumper or shirt though and I do wear a light 3bt front pink cotton jacket sometimes in the summer paired with suede shoes, dark Levi's and a white button down. Crazy but the ladies like it.

well I can only speak for myself but I'm sold on it. I wouldn't say it's sharp, but I think it's cool.
29 from B.O.C isn't always a short in the modern jacket in the shops. I'd like to see anyone not look square in those shoe soles. I think the fact that the feet are looking as wide as the shoulders are more to do with that than button stance.
Those deep cardigan pockets, filled to the brim with Werthers. It's a great look.
Thanks Thaw. Vintage Werthers of course. Nice n soft. And Goodyear, I take your grandad comment as a complete compliment. I did have those trousers tapered to 7.5 hem, but doesn't really come across in that pic.

I was joking about the trousers! They look fine, and you got your hands in your pockets, clearly grabbing at some boiled sweets as you try to compensate for injecting too much insulin to combat your alcohol induced type 2 diabetes sugar drop, oh wait sorry we're on to talking about my grandad now!
As you should WM. My grandad was a real cool guy.
If I would have had the fortune of pilfering my grandfathers wardrobe after he passed, I probably would have saved a lot of dough on clothes over the years. I'll admit I have a sort of grandfatherly style sense. I mean, I would like to think I'll still be able to wear the same clothes when I'm 75. Uhhmmmm... GerIVYatric
And I agree, definitely nothing smart about that getup. Strictly casual.

I'm bang on 6ft but I have a long torso and short legs so longer jackets make my legs look even shorter. As I said I'm happy with the jacket length, but I wouldn't go any shorter. The jacket is actually labeled as a 39 R.
